Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a component of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has received the most study of all the alternative therapies. Acupuncture is the practice of penetrating the skin with thin, solid, metallic needles which are then activated through gentle and specific movements of the practitioner's hands. It's great for acute and chronic pain but it is also commonly used to treat stress, migraines & headaches, hormonal disruptions, insomnia, allergies and fertility. Treatment is usually painless and most people find it very relaxing.
Bowen Therapy
Our Therapist is a trained Bowtech therapist. Bowtech is the original Bowen Technique, it is a gentle form of body work in which very subtle moves are performed over muscles and connective tissue send messages deep into the body, retrieving cellular memory of a preferred, relaxed, balanced way of wellbeing. Results can be remarkable, even from the first session.

Cranio Sacral Therapy
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, non invasive modality that seeks to find and treat restrictions throughout the body systems. Restrictions within the CranioSacral System can lead to tension patterns, restrictions affect the functioning of all bodily systems including the musculoskeletal, endocrine, cardio-respiratory, gastrointestinal, lymphatic, immune and reproductive systems. CranioSacral Therapy is effective for a wide range of problems associated with discomfort, pain and dysfunction. This could include issues such as headaches and migraines, chronic pain, general issues of the head and jaw and stress/anxiety.
Myofascial Cupping
Cupping is a gentle and effective technique that aims to restore function, movement and flexibility to the soft tissue that connects the body. This technique is derived from traditional Chinese medicine. Our Therapists use plastic suction cups to create a vacuum effect which is placed on the skin. The vacuum acts to gently lift the skin and underlying tissues, to break up cross linkages between the tissue layers that limit our flexibility. Cupping also promotes the hydration of these tissues to help prevent further cross linkages from forming.
